Four-year-old sprinter Lyncar Jerry will be in quest of his third win in nine days when he lines up with a winning chance in the Euro Signs and Safety Free For All tonight at Luxbet Park in Hobart.

The Carol Nash prepared chaser started his winning run when greeting the judge at Launceston, following up with a comprehensive victory over Kinloch’s Angel at Devonport last week.

The son of Spring Gun returns to the 340-metres trip and is primed to notch up his seventeenth win of a seventy-start career.

Lyncar Jerry (R3-No 6) looks well suited in box six having won three of his seven appearances over the journey including his first win back in November of last year defeating Quiet Bay from box seven in 19.57 seconds.

Nebraska Beach for trainer Anthony Bullock looms as the main threat, coming off a last start fourth behind Gold Lenny over 515 metres at Launceston.

The son of Bond will jump from box three and needs to use his early turn of speed to find a spot close to the leaders before the home turn.

Lyncar Jerry will be surrounded by well-tried performers such as Dilston Delight (1), Howzat Patsy (5) and Long View Belle (7) and should be considered in first four investments and trifectas.

Tonight’s meeting at Hobart gets underway with the first race set to jump at 7.40pm.
