Meeting Dashboard – Devonport, Tuesday 18 July

17 / 07 / 2017

Devonport on Tuesday afternoon could produce good results for popular Moorleah trainer Russell Watts starting off in race 1 with IT’S A THREAT (box 5) who should be leading and she could prove hard to run down. ZIPPING JAGGER (box 7) for trainer Michael Stringer looks the obvious threat to her chances. MAHARANI (box 5) in race 9 is also a chance but she has to overcome the awkward box draw and OH SO NICE (box 8) in race 10 looks the standout bet of the day. In race 2 LUKE ROMAN (box 3) for trainer Terry Penny strikes a moderate grade 5 event and he looks likely to be a bit too strong in the run home for his rivals. In race 4 the wide running FRAZZLE DAZZLE (box 8) for trainer Wanda Hodgetts is well suited wearing the pink vest and she is capable of leading all of the way. LASHING JACKSON (box 4) in race 6 for trainer Allan Anderson is meeting much inferior opposition than his recent outings and he might be hard to hold out in the run home. In race 7 STYLISH NIC (box 5) for trainer Anthony Dawson will be seeking to redeem himself after being beaten by WYNBURN ARCHER (box 8) here last week who looks the logical danger with NINE SQUARED (box 6) the other runner in with a winning chance. Suggested Quadrella is (5,6,7,8 – 4,5,8 – 5,6,8 – 1,2,8) cost is $54.00 for a 50% dividend.
