Meeting Dashboard – Devonport, Tuesday 8 August

07 / 08 / 2017

Devonport on Tuesday afternoon looks a good meeting for favourite punters starting off in race 1 with IMMORTA (box 1) for trainer Eric Cripps who is very nicely drawn and she might be a bit too strong in the run home for her rivals namely LORD DOMINATOR (box 2) and MEWSTONE ROCKET (box 3). In race 2 DYLAN KEEPING (box 8) for trainer Morris Strickland might be able to find the front quite quickly and he gets his chance to break thru around the Devonport circuit. RIKITIKITANA (box 5), ZOPRUSH (box 6) and BUCKLE UP SPUD (box 2) look the other main chances. In race 3 EL GRAND AMIGO (box 1) for trainer Patrick Ryan is a top class sprinter returning to racing after a 4 month break and he should set up a substantial enough break by the half way mark that will see him through. GREYSYND HAWK (box 3) and MAC THE KNIFE (box 8) are the other main chances in that event. In race 5 ZIPPING JAGGER (box 5) for trainer Mick Stringer has strung together three wins in a row and he should have no trouble in making it four with GOODISON GIRL (box 3) looking the only other runner in with a winning chance. Suggested Quadrella is (5 – 1,3,6 – 1,4,7,10 – 5,8) cost is $12.00 for a 50% dividend.
