Meeting Dashboard – Hobart, Thursday 14 September

13 / 09 / 2017

Thursday evening at Hobart is a good 10 event program with some very challenging contests to be had, which should ensure an exciting night of greyhound racing. In race 2 COUNTRY HELEN (box 1) for trainer Michael Pearce has very good early speed and over the shorter 340m journey she is the one to beat. In race 6 exciting youngster IT’S A WINK (box 4) for trainer Russell Watts has won 10 of her 19 starts and meets a field with very little early speed. She will settle in a forward position and be a bit too strong in the run home for her rivals. The invitation event is race 7 and EL GRAND AMIGO (box 7) for trainer Patrick Ryan will set up a lead that might be big enough to see him through. RUBY’S FLAME (box 8) for trainer Blake Pursell from the ideal box draw looks the other main contender and she might be the one that can overhaul EL GRAND AMIGO. In race 9 FINK RACER (box 8) for trainer Ricky Martin should have enough early speed to take up the running he might be hard to run down. The Martin’s also have litter brother WOOSHA (box 4) in race 10 and he too might be hard to run down if he goes straight to the front. Suggested Quadrella is (2,5 – 4,7,8 – 7,8 – 2,5,6) cost is $18.00 for a 50% dividend.
