Dear Greyhound enthusiast,
Following the release of the Tasracing Code of Practice For Racehorse Welfare in November 2024, your feedback is invited on the draft Tasracing Code of Practice for Racing Greyhound Welfare.
This comprehensive document is based on similar standards already in place in other greyhound racing jurisdictions around Australia and overseas. The document will provide guidance to the Tasmanian industry as well as re-assurance to the Tasmanian public that greyhounds are provided with the requisite standards of welfare during all stages of their lifecycle.
We invite all greyhound participants to read the draft document and provide written feedback below. Your feedback will help shape the Code of Practice document.
