We're excited to announce that applications are now open for the **2025-26 Off The Track (OTT) Tasmania Acknowledged Retrainer Pilot Program**.

This 12-month pilot program, running from **1 July 2025 to 30 May 2026**, is designed to assess and support the transition of retired thoroughbred and standardbred racehorses into second careers. It's a key step in shaping the future of equine welfare and retraining in Tasmania.

#### Why Apply?

- **Be part of the future of OTT in Tasmania**  
  Help shape the long-term direction of OTT Tasmania’s retraining support.
- **Support and resources provided**  
  Selected retrainers will receive guidance, promotional support, and access to Transition Reimbursements of up to $1,000 per Eligible Horse.
- **Limited opportunity**  
  Only a small number of retrainers will be selected for the pilot – apply early!
- **Help improve post-racing transition**  
  Your input will contribute to data collection and program refinement.
- **Straightforward application process**  
  Complete the form, gather your documentation, and send it through.

- $100 one off Admin Fee
- $100 per week, up to 16 weeks Retraining Assistance Rebate
- Up to $1000 Horse Health & Husbandry Rebate
