Tasracing Commences Transition to a Unified Website

Tasracing is excited to announce that we are starting the process of bringing all our websites together into a single, improved platform at tasracing.com.au. This transition will make it easier for you to find everything you need across codes and welfare programs, in one place while allowing us to unify systems and improve the way we deliver information.

What’s Happening?

We’re rolling out these website changes in phases to ensure a smooth transition:

  1. Industry Content
    The first phase is moving all content from tasracingcorporate.com.au to the new Tasracing website. Corporate policies will be accessible under the About section, and code-specific industry policies will be located in the Code Hubs under the Racing menu (Thoroughbred, Harness, & Greyhound). Any news and events which were housed on our corporate site will also be integrated to our new News and Event hubs, accessible from the home page and main navigation menu.
  2. Animal Welfare Hub
    A dedicated Animal Welfare Hub will be introduced to centralize all welfare-related content. Initially, this hub will link to existing sites like gaptas.org.au and offthetracktas.com.au. Over time, these sites will be fully integrated into the Tasracing website, along with a new user account system. This system will ensure greater traceability and better management of retired horses and greyhounds.
  3. New Web Address for our Form Website
    Our current Form offering (previously known as FormPlus) will move to a new web address at form.tasracing.com.au. The content will remain the same, and links to it will be easy to find on the new website. Please ensure you update your bookmarks to reflect this change if necessary.

What’s Next?

This new platform and user account system also sets the foundation for exciting future developments, including:

  • A new events and ticketing system that will simplify booking tickets, exploring upcoming events, and engage more personally with racing events through tailored event recommendations, notifications, and exclusive offers based on your personal preferences and activity.
  • A dedicated Ownership Hub designed to bring you closer to the action. This hub will support initiatives like our Win a Share in a Tasmanian Racehorse competition and the Racing Owners Club Tasmania. While supporting our new ownership growth initiatives, the hub will include comprehensive FAQs and all the information needed to better understand the ownership process. It will also feature a trainers and syndicator directory, helping new owners connect with key industry professionals and start their ownership journey with confidence.
  • A new Tasracing Integrity Unit Hub. Following the integration of integrity functions from ORI in February, we will launch the Tasracing Integrity Unit Hub. This hub will centralise integrity-related policies, procedures, and resources, ensuring the highest standards of integrity across all racing codes and improving access to critical information for participants.
  • A Careers and Training Hub to showcase Tasracing-facilitated industry training and upskilling opportunities, helping new entrants find pathways into the industry while providing ongoing support for existing participants to expand their skills and advance their racing career.
