Our immersive 5-day Internship Program offers a unique, behind-the-scenes introduction to the racing industry. Across the week, participants will explore a variety of roles, develop hands-on skills, and gain valuable insights to help shape their future career pathways. Running during both the northern and southern school holiday periods.
Spreyton (Devonport Racecourse) 12th – 16th Jan 2026
Brighton (Brighton Training Centre) 19th – 23rd Jan 2026
Start: Approx. 7:30 AM | Finish: Approx. 3:30 PM daily (TBC)
Cost: This program is provided free of charge to successful applicants.

Visit one of Tasmania’s leading breeding studs and learn about the careers in breeding.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 15 years or older
- Wear fully enclosed shoes (boots preferred)
- Wear appropriate protective clothing (e.g., no singlets)
- No mobile phones during site visits unless approved by facilitator
- No dangling jewellery: hair must be tied back for safety
