Tasracing works with Harness Racing Australia (HRA) and other State Controlling Bodies to put in place an annual insurance program that covers all affiliated clubs and licenced persons. The insurance cover applies when licence holders and other insured persons/entities are involved in activities that are sanctioned by HRA and Tasracing.  These activities include official events, training, competition, committee meetings, fundraising activities, plus travel to and from these activities.

There are two overarching policies which cover Personal Accident Insurance and Public & Products Liability Insurance. Attached is a document which provides a Summary of Coverage for clubs and individual participants.  It includes the process of how to make a claim:
