Tasracing Imposes Interim Suspension on Mr. Conor Crook
Tasracing has imposed an interim suspension on the Harness driver, Harness trainer and Thoroughbred trainer licences held by licensed participant Mr Conor Crook.
The suspension follows an operation conducted by Integrity Unit investigators at Mr Crook's stable premises on 10 May 2026, during which a number of substances and other items were seized.
Mr Crook was provided with an opportunity to show cause as to why an interim suspension should not be imposed pending the outcome of a formal inquiry into the matter.
Following consideration of the available information, Tasracing determined that an interim suspension was appropriate while investigations continue.
The date of the formal inquiry has not yet been determined and will be announced in due course.
Tasracing remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare, racing integrity and public confidence in the Tasmanian racing industry.
