Launceston thoroughbred meetings are conducted at the Ladbrokes Racing Centre, Mowbray, one of Tasmania’s two tri-code venues.
Meetings are run by the Tasmanian Turf Club, which hosts around 25 meetings each year, the majority conducted on Wednesday or Friday nights.
The club hosts several feature events throughout the year, headlined by the Listed Launceston Cup, which is traditionally run in late February.
