Dylan Ford and Jordan Chibnall have been selected to represent Tasmania at the 2026 Australian Drivers Championship at Globe Derby in South Australia on 3 October.
Dylan and Jordy enjoyed fantastic 2025 seasons in the sulky, finishing as the top two in the Tasmanian Drivers Premiership and earning the opportunity to represent the state on the national stage.
For Dylan, it’s another opportunity to pull on the Tassie colours.
“It’s a real honour, and I’m proud to represent my state once again.
"Hopefully this year we can have a bit more luck with the draws. I’m looking forward to a great night of racing in South Australia alongside some of Australia’s best drivers.”
For Jordy, the selection carries special meaning, with Tasmania now home.
“It means a lot to be selected to represent Tasmania at the Australian Drivers Championship.
"Tassie is home for me now, so it makes it even more special to get the chance to represent the state and the people in harness racing here. I’m really grateful for the opportunity and proud to be wearing the Tassie colours in Adelaide. Hopefully I can do the state proud.”
Representatives from Tasmania, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia will drive in the series, which was held in Hobart in 2025 and won by Victoria's James Herbertson.
