Tasmania will be well represented at the $1 million Inter Dominion Pacing Final at Albion Park in Brisbane on Saturday night with five of the 13 horses having strong links to the state.
Fighter Command (winner of the last two runnings of The Beautide in Tasmania, which is named after the last Tasmanian horse to win an Inter Dominion), War Dan Buddy and Max Delight all have Tasmanian ownership.
Triedtotellya, the reigning Tasmanian Horse of the Year, is trained and driven by Beauty Point-based Tasmanian Rohan Hillier. He ran fourth and third in his two heats to qualify for the final.
Nyack was bred in the state by the Rattray family and started his career in the state, where he dominated his juvenile seasons. He has raced in New South Wales for the last two years with James Rattray and placed second in his two qualifying heats.

Leap To Fame is the favourite. He has won 72 of 91 career starts with more than $6.3 million in prize money.
The final will be run over 2680-metres at 9.16pm.
