Tasracing has finalised the updated Equine Code of Practice (Version 2.3), which has been approved by the Tasracing Board.

All harness and thoroughbred trainers should review the Code to ensure they comply with current welfare, safety and operational requirements.

The Code outlines the standards expected across all equine management, training and racing activities in Tasmania.

Tasracing will work closely with industry to deliver education and training sessions to support participants’ understanding and implementation of the new Code.
