The 2026/27 racing season will feature 61 thoroughbred meetings, 87 harness meetings and 156 greyhound meetings.

Harness will have a reduction from 92 race meetings in 2025-26 to 87 for the 2026-27 season.

The 2026/27 greyhound racing season will feature a strong mix of feature racing, showcase meetings and key public holiday race dates across Launceston and Hobart.

The 2026/27 thoroughbred racing season will feature 61 race meetings, reduced from 65 meetings in 2025/26.

Armidale Stud announced on Thursday, 25 June the passing of its resident stallion Tough Speed (USA), who was humanely euthanised on 25/6/2026 at the grand old age of 29 following a slow decline in health associated with old age.
